You’ve got to leave some in the tank for the moment when you know you’re going to need it.

I’ve recently learned that you can’t give everything your all. If you do (or at least try to) you aren’t giving anything your all.

The question that came to mind when I started thinking about this was “how do we know when it’s time to release all of that pent-up energy).

Now, the answer to this question actually came as easily as the question itself did.

I’d always wondered a few things. Obviously right? Everyone wonders something. I was wondering how we would know if something was true. How do we know when we’ve found something that we should be doing? How do we know if it’s worth it? The answer to that question would easily be you don’t. There is no humanly possible way for an individual to easily be able to just know when something should be done. There’s just no way. What we’ll have to do is figure out what we’re going to stand for.

Once you know what you’re going to stand for(what you want) it becomes relatively easy to understand when energy should be spent on a goal.

That’s my understanding of it so far. Don’t give it your all. Not yet anyway. Or, at least be conservative about your energy.
