Your feelings do not get in the way of your purpose. PERIOD.
I hate to say this because it’s a very simple thing for what I’m actually saying to get misconstrued but, the way that you feel does not matter.
If you have a goal, you make all rational decisions that will get you towards that goal.
*take this with a pinch of salt.
I don’t want a job. I want to do my own thing. I believe that I can do my own thing – I just have to work for it. But, to do what I really need to/plan to do I need capital.
Capital can come from various different places but, since I don’t want to owe anyone and don’t feel comfortable using other people’s money, in general, to bet with, I must work.
I don’t want to work but, I must.
Why do I tell you this? Not because I want you to understand the hardships that I face – my hardships are no different from those that other individuals must face.
I want you to understand something that I simply don’t want to; you must do what you have to – not what you want to sometimes.
Going back to what I wrote at the beginning of the post, your feeling matter very little when you set your eyes on something. You go after what you want and you refuse to look back until you get it.
In the words of a villain that I had no choice but to have the utmost respect for (and I’m paraphrasing)
“Now is no time to mourn. There is work to be done”.
I’m sorry but, get up and get going. No one cares about the way you feel.
