Letter to myself.

Guys, this is something I feel needs to be written to myself so I remember it. It helps to do things like this so that you’re able to remember the lessons you’ve learned.

This is also going to be another short one. Just a heads up.

Dear Jimmie,

Every time you feel like this, as if you don’t have direction, you have to keep going. It’s cool to be afraid. Fear is a motivation of sorts.

You feel as if you’re jumping into things that you know nothing about. As if you don’t have a grip on anything. This is you venting.

This is being written so you remember this process; I’m sure it won’t be the last time you deal with it.

Understanding that you will likely feel this way for a very long time will help you not feel this way.

It doesn’t hurt to take a breather either. You know you have skill when you can fall back and still bounce back.

breathe

When you think about it, you’ve actually figured more out when you’ve felt like this, than during this entire summer.

Life is a grind. Accept it.

If you want big things, then you must be willing to provide something equivalent for exchange. That exchange, in your case, is your time and energy. Your focus.

Things will definitely pay off in the end – they always do.

You’d better read this,

You
